SAME OMAHA AND GREATER KC VETERANS' CAREER TRANSITION WORKSHOP

The inaugural Veterans' Career Transition Workshop (CTW) is focused on value-added transitioning needs of military officers and enlisted personnel. The workshop is modeled on the SAME National CTW but with local accessibility and specific focus on the unique needs of transitioning service members.

CTW Agenda includes:

  • Session 1: Translating Military Experience
  • Session 2: Resume Writing and Interview Skills
  • Session 3: LinkedIn Optimization
  • Session 4: Networking Lunch with AEC Professionals
  • Session 5: Panel Discussion - Transition Success Stories and Q&A
  • Session 6: Employer Insights & Networking Tips

Registration includes:

  • Six Training and Information Sessions
  • Course materials and resources
  • Snacks and beverages throughout the day and a buffet lunch
  • Access to Veteran Transition Services organizations
  • Optional 1-on-1 Engagement Sessions with Exhibiting Firms (28-29 May)
  • Access to the 2026 Missouri River JETS Icebreaker Reception for networking
