About NYSSBA's Annual Convention & Education Expo
The New York State School Boards Association’s 2021 Annual Convention & Education Expo will host the largest gathering of publicly-elected officials and education administrators in the Northeast at the New York Hilton Midtown, October 24-26. As an exhibitor and/or sponsor you can showcase your products and services to education leaders, who have $70 billion to spend equipping and managing their school districts and Boards of Cooperative Educational Services, with the resources to effectively manage and govern their schools.

Market your products and services to one of the largest K-12 public education audiences in New York. Reach more than 90% of the school districts and Boards of Cooperative Education Services (BOCES) in New York State, and approximately 5,000 school board members empowered as stewards of annual school budgets ranging from about $10 million to $894 million through year round Convention advertising and member word of mouth. NYSSBA's negotiated room rates at the New York Hilton Midtown will be available between $349-$355 per night.

Expo Dates & Hours
Sunday, October 24: afternoon; 2:30  - 5:30 p.m. (Opening Reception on Expo floors 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.)
Monday, October 25: full day; 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (Dedicated expo breaks at 10:45 - 11:15 a.m. and 3:15 - 3:45 p.m.)
Tuesday, October 36: morning; 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (Dedicated expo break at 10:45 - 11:15 a.m.)

Booth Rates

Standard booth = $2,000

Each Exhibit Space Includes

  • Service contractor’s COVID-19 protocol or booth boundaries to maximize safety and minimize risk
  • Up to two (2) full Convention registrations for booth staff for the first booth, a value of $515 early bird/$565 regular each
  • Company listing (40 words) in our Website and Convention Event App
  • Company listing in up to three (3) product categories
  • Admission to all engagement activities on the Expo floor
  • Attendee mailing lists provided approximately 30 days before and after Convention (includes name, title, organization and mailing address – no email addresses are included)
  • A one-year subscription to On Board, our award-winning newspaper published and mailed 17 times per year to over 10,000 subscribers
  • A one-year subscription to E-Clips, our daily education news clipping service providing links to state and national news outlets, sent to 8,000+ subscribers
  • Exclusive member pricing for NYSSBA events and products for one year

Booth Payment Schedule
All exhibit space reservations must be accompanied by a deposit equal to 50% of the total exhibit space. The remaining 50% is due by August 31, 2021. All applications received after August 31, 2021, must be accompanied by 100% payment for the exhibit space.

Note on Health & Safety
Because health of our attendees and exhibitors is our primary concern, we are working diligently with the hotel and other vendors to implement safety precautions. We will follow local and venue jurisdiction put forth in October and communicate a code of conduct to all exhibitors closer to the event.
