Who attends the NSH Exhibit Show?
Attendees at the Annual Symposium/Convention are histologists and cytologists that work in clinical, veterinary and research settings.  They are a diverse group that vary from students to department managers. Attendees take their knowledge of new products back to all levels of management and departments within their labs to impact future purchases. It has been found that a number of laboratories will fund attendees trips to the NSH S/C specifically so that they may gain knowledge of new and up and coming processes, techniques and products. An evaluation of 2010 attendees concluded that 9 out of 10 are involved in or influence the purchasing decisions of their organization.  Furthermore 2 out of 3 had plans to purchase products or services as a result of attending the Symposium/Convention.  Finally when asked their reason for attending the S/C 67% stated it was very important for them to "see new products".
