Technology increasingly plays a major part in helping parking managers understand and operate their parking facilities. These carried levels of technology can help parking managers perform revenue and transaction audits, handle safety and security, and manage egress and ingress. As a CPP professional it is important to have a clear understanding on how these technologies are used and what benefits or challenges they bring to facility management. In this webinar, industry experts will:

Marketing is defined by the American Marketing Association as the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large.

A parking facility is acquired or built to offer parking spaces for sale to patrons in a given area or market. These spaces add to what transportation planners call the area’s or market’s “parking supply”.

Customers make their buying decisions on parking based on a wide variety of factors, including availability, price, and service level. These decisions influence the level of what planners call “parking demand” in an area or market.

For Certified Parking Professionals charged with “marketing” their facilities, understanding the market in which the facility operates, the parking “product” being offered for sale, and the needs of the customers in that market are all critical to success.
