You ordered the saliva test. The report came back. Now the real questions begin:

  • What do these pathogens mean?
  • Which bacteria matter most?
  • When do I recommend biofilm disruption, probiotics, antimicrobials, or retesting?
  • How do I explain this to the patient without overwhelming them?
  • How do I turn a lab report into a treatment plan the whole team can follow?

In this one-hour webinar, Lora Hooper, BSDH, RDH, EFDA, The Saliva Hacker™, will introduce a practical framework for turning saliva test results into confident clinical decisions.

What you will walk away with:

  • Interpret key salivary pathogen patterns to identify dominant microbial drivers.
  • Translate saliva test results into personalized clinical next steps.
  • Communicate saliva test findings with confidence and patient-friendly language.

This session is a preview for the MDDS two-day, hands-on course, Data to Decisions: Saliva & Glucose-Guided Treatment Planning, where dental teams will learn how to interpret real data, connect saliva and glucose findings and build personalized treatment protocols on October 16 - 17, 2026.
