The 9th Annual Bob Fowler Motorcycle Ride
Mark your calendar for The 9th Annual Bob Fowler Motorcycle Ride scheduled for Saturday October 20 and Sunday October 21, 2012. Bring your camera! Book both days as Saturday (220 miles) we will ride east of Portland along the Washington side of the Columbia Gorge with views of Mount Saint Helens, thru the town of Stevenson Washington, across the "Bridge of the Gods" back into Oregon, stop for lunch in Hood River and then over Mount Hood back to Portland stopping occasionally for photos and refreshments. Sunday (200 Miles) we ride west to the Pacific Ocean, having lunch in the historic town of Astoria (Kindergarten Cop). After Lunch we will ride east back to Portland along the Columbia Gorge through the town of Clatskanie stopping occasionally for photos. Different than last year's ride we will be stopping at restaurant for lunch. Depending on attendance we will ride in groups of 8-10 and may offer both rides both days.
No golf tournament is scheduled at this time, but there will still be an opportunity to hit the links during your visit to Portland. And if you're feeling adventurous and have the time, consider adding a visit to one of the Northwest's award-winning courses to your trip. 2012 Meet and Greet the Candidates Hospitality Night
The fourth annual “Meet & Greet the Candidates” will be held from 7 – 11 pm on Sunday October 21, 2012 in the Sky Lounge and rooftop terrace on the top floor of the Red Lion Hotel. This informal event will allow attendees to meet this year’s ICC Board candidates and reacquaint themselves with current Board members in a casual social setting. Beverages, hot dogs and light snacks will be served and music will be provided to complete the casual event.

The Oregon Building Officials Association and the Northwest Chapters of ICC welcome you to Portland and the 2012 ICC Final Action Hearings and Annual Conference. This Year’s Keynote Speaker Will Be Ernest Mitchell, Jr., Fire Administrator United States Fire Administration
Ernest Mitchell, Jr. is the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s United States Fire Administrator for the United States Fire Administration. He began his tenure on December 5, 2011 and is responsible for managing the United States Fire Administration, the programs and training activities at the National Emergency Training Center. During his career Chief Mitchell has either chaired or been a member of many working committees that contributed to the progress and development of communities as well as local, state and national fire and emergency services. He is a past recipient of the IAFC President’s Award for Service and has received several other community awards for service.
