After a scenic drive through part of the Apache Trail in the Tonto National Forest, away from the city, nestled at the base of the Superstition Mountains is spectacular Canyon Lake. As itsname implies, the lake is defined by thousand foot steep canyon walls. The Steamboat "Dolly" makes her rounds in this lake all year round.
