Amplifying Student Voices Day

DREAM: Amplifying Student Voices Day is a special one-day experience held during Achieving the Dream’s annual DREAM conference, designed to elevate student perspectives and inspire action for meaningful change. Now in its second year, the program centers students as leaders and partners in shaping the future of community colleges.

Throughout the day, student participants will engage in interactive workshops, thought-provoking discussions, and creative expression opportunities tailored to amplify their voices and ideas. Students will connect with peers, educators, and community leaders to share experiences and explore innovative approaches to strengthening student success and engagement on campus.

What to Expect

• Interactive workshops and discussions focused on student leadership and voice
• Curated DREAM conference sessions that place students at the heart of institutional transformation
• A full-conference plenary session featuring ATD’s 2026 DREAM Scholars and award-winning poet Denise Frohman
• Opportunities to network with fellow students, college leaders, and practitioners
• A luncheon workshop focused on career development, leadership, and civic engagement

Program Highlights

• 8:00–9:00 a.m. | Welcome breakfast, swag bag, and student gift giveaway
• 9:00–10:00 a.m. | Student-focused DREAM sessions on leadership, decision-making, and removing barriers to success
• 10:15–11:30 a.m. | DREAM Plenary: Empowering Students for Inclusion and Collective Advancement
• 11:45 a.m.–12:15 p.m. | Photo opportunity for students and college representatives
• 12:30–2:30 p.m. | Amplifying Student Voices Day luncheon workshop
