14th Annual DREAM Conference
#ATD_DREAM
Thank you for joining us in Nashville, the music city, at DREAM 2018! We look forward to seeing you February 19-22, 2019 in Long Beach!
The annual convening of Achieving the Dream brought together more than 2,300 higher education leaders, policy-makers, investors, thought leaders, and practitioners from more than 200 colleges dedicated to improving student success. The nation’s top leaders discussed tackling the challenges of increasing student success, increasing capacity for data analysis, program evaluation, and student-centered, data-informed decision making.
Plenaries, concurrent sessions, and workshops addressed seven essential capabilities in Achieving the Dream's Institutional Capacity Framework (ICAT).
Achieving the Dream's Institutional Capacity Framework is a comprehensive approach to addressing the emerging needs of the field to improve success results for all students, especially low-income students and students of color.
The framework has at its core seven essential capacities that must be in place for colleges to create the student-focused culture that promotes student success. Colleges must be strong in each capacity area in order to take on any large-scale interventions such as guided pathways, the Integrated Planning and Advising for Student Success in Higher Education (iPASS) or the Working Students Success Network at scale.
