COVID-19 CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE POLICY AND PROTOCOLS
To promote safety and well-being, ATD requires all attendees and staff to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to participating in-person in any ATD conference or meeting in accordance with applicable law. Before attending any in-person meeting hosted b ATD, attendees will be asked to provide proof of vaccination status via HealthShield, a third-party health clearance site.

On the HealthShield site, attendees will agree to ATD’s COVID-19 guidelines, complete the vaccine verification process, and upload their vaccination document (except where prohibited by law). Once completed, attendees will receive verification that they are cleared to attend. Attendees will be given instructions and a specific link to HealthShield as part of their regular pre-meeting communication.

Healthshield/42Chat will use your mobile phone number to contact you via text for the 2022 ATD Attainment Oregon for COVID-19 and health status updates, and emergency information only.  Your data will not be shared with, sold to, or marketed to by any third party.  You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by texting “Opt Out” but please do not select this option until after this event has ended.

All attendees will also be required to wear facemasks indoors except when presenting, when eating or drinking in designated areas, and/or as otherwise required by applicable law and guidance for the duration of the Meeting.

All attendees will be expected to follow relevant guidance provided by the CDC; adhere to government-issued travel restrictions; evaluate their own health and that of people they are in close contact with; not to attend the Meeting if they are feeling sick or exhibiting any flu-like symptoms; and contact ATD staff if they have concerns.

All attendees and exhibitors will be asked to agree to the following COVID-19 policies and guidelines at point of registration:

By registering for this conference, I agree that I will carefully review and, during the event and all event-related activities, comply with all applicable COVID-19-related federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidance, including but not limited to, the specific local Oregon COVID-19 regulations, and any other protocols that may be implemented by ATD or the conference venue.

I acknowledge that ATD cannot guarantee that attendees will not be exposed to or contract COVID-19 while attending the conference, and that by attending they may be exposing or increasing their risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19.

I understand that ATD will continue to closely monitor conditions related to COVID-19 between now and the start of the conference and that ATD reserves the right to modify its COVID-19 related procedures and health screening protocols in its sole discretion at any time. Registrants will be informed of any such changes on an ongoing basis. As a condition of attendance and participation, I agree to follow the protocols as required by ATD and/or the conference venue. Refusal to abide by ATD’s COVID-19 related procedures may result in ejection from the conference and cancellation of registration.

FAQs

What is the objective of Attainment Oregon?
This event is designed to provide Oregon colleges and universities a space to discuss how to best align and coordinate the many student success initiatives underway statewide to articulate a statewide student success agenda for higher education that is equity-focused and lays out the steps needed to achieve Oregon’s postsecondary attainment goals.
Who is hosting this event?
Achieving the Dream is co-hosting this event, along with HECC and Oregon Community College Association (OCCA). The initial event concept was suggested by HECC staff in 2020 out of a long-standing ambition to host an event addressing student success and equity in higher education. The articulation of an agenda to create “student ready colleges” is the product of work that OCCA has led with each of the state’s 17 community colleges.
Who should attend this event?
Attainment Oregon is for staff and leadership of all Oregon public institutions of higher education. We are looking for college presidents and cabinet members as well as student-facing staff who work directly on student success initiatives as well as your key partners from state agencies and community-based organizations that provide services to students in higher education.
