Question: What is the 2018 Math Pathways Convening?
Answer: The 2018 Math Pathways Convening is a national Network learning event focused on the development and implementation of math pathways at scale.  It is designed for colleges to either launch new efforts or further current work.  The theme for the event is: Building Institutional Capacity and Sustainability in Math Redesign.
 
Question: Who should attend the 2018 Math Pathways Convening?
Answer: Colleges are encouraged to send math faculty, a college administrator, and a college advisor. Please download the following video to learn more about the ideal attendance to optimize your experience at the conference. 
Question: How much is registration?
Answer: The fee per registrant is $695 for attendees from ATD Network Colleges and $850 for attendees from all other institutions. The registration fee  includes all plenary and concurrent sessions, coffee breaks, Monday evening reception, Tuesday continental breakfast and lunch, and Wednesday continental breakfast and lunch.
 
Question: What is NOT covered by the Math Pathways Convening participation fee?
Answer: Travel, lodging, airport transfers and those meals not included in the registration fee.
Question: How do I register for the 2018 Math Pathways Convening?
Answer: Registration for the 2018 Math Pathways Convening is now open. The deadline to register is Monday, June 4, 2018.Regiser Now! 
Question: What are the transportation options for travel to the 2018 Math Pathways Convening?
Answer: PIT airport is approximately 18 miles to the hotel. You may view maps and transportation options here.
Question: How can I access resources after the 2018 Math Pathways Convening?
Answer: For your convenience, all resources will be posted on Dana Center web site and/or the ATD website following the Math Pathways Convening.
Question: How do I reserve a hotel room for the 2018 Math Pathways Convening?

Answer:

A block of rooms has been reserved for the 2018 Math Pathways participants at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites located at  One Bigelow Square, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.The conference rate is $169 per night. College representatives are responsible for making their hotel reservations. 

Attendees may  utilize the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites reservations office at 412-281-5800. Reference “Achieving the Dream” and/or “2018 Math Pathways Convening.”

Please note: Hotel reservations made by any method other than the one described above are not guaranteed the conference room rate.
