Achieving the Dream’s two-day virtual Teaching and Learning Summit, Advancing Equitable Student Learning in Times of Accelerating Change, brings together faculty, leaders of professional learning, instructional designers, department chairs, deans, and others for interactive workshops and guided conversations to advance campus-wide transformation.

Our current moment—a time of accelerated change in higher education—calls for us to be agile educators, implementing equity-minded strategies such as culturally responsive practices, open educational resources, and high-impact professional learning to sustain and scale our classroom innovations.

Together, let’s navigate the changes ahead and advance equity in student learning and success on our campuses.

Schedule-at-a-Glance
Thursday, October 26: Virtual opening session and interactive sessions

Friday, October 27: Virtual interactive sessions

Advancing Equitable Student Learning in Times of Accelerating Change sessions will address how the strategic use of teaching and learning tools and artificial intelligence (AI) can benefit our students and improve our classrooms. Session topics will center on three themes:

  1. Being resilient educators as we grapple with/respond to accelerating change as a positive force for student success.
  2. Creating space for collaborative peer-to-peer guidance to plan for and adapt to accelerating change effectively.
  3. Developing a set of tools that educators can use, in their respective roles across the college, to advance student success in a time of accelerating change.

What attendees said about last year's Teaching and Learning Summit series:

“This institute was OUTSTANDING! I walked away with valuable insights and tools to implement at my college and in my classroom.”

“Loved everything about it! It was eye opening and great to learn from diverse voices and get to commune with other faculty across the US.”

“This whole institute has been transformational for me”
