COVID-19 CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE POLICY AND PROTOCOLS

Before attending any in-person meeting hosted by ATD, attendees will be asked to provide proof of vaccination status via HealthShield, a third-party health clearance site.

On the HealthShield site, attendees will agree to ATD’s COVID-19 guidelines, complete the vaccine verification process, and upload their vaccination document (except where prohibited by law). Once completed, attendees will receive verification that they are cleared to attend. Attendees will be given instructions and a specific link to HealthShield as part of their regular pre-meeting communication.

All attendees will also be required to wear facemasks indoors except when presenting, when eating or drinking in designated areas, and/or as otherwise required by applicable law and guidance for the duration of the Meeting.

All attendees will be expected to follow relevant guidance provided by the CDC; adhere to government-issued travel restrictions; evaluate their own health and that of people they are in close contact with; not to attend the Meeting if they are feeling sick or exhibiting any flu-like symptoms; and contact ATD staff if they have concerns.

All attendees and exhibitors will be asked to agree to the following COVID-19 policies and guidelines at point of registration:

By registering for this conference, I agree that I will carefully review and, during the event and all event-related activities, comply with all applicable COVID-19-related federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidance, including but not limited to, the specific local New York COVID-19 regulations, and any other protocols that may be implemented by ATD or the conference venue.

I acknowledge that ATD cannot guarantee that attendees will not be exposed to or contract COVID-19 while attending the conference, and that by attending they may be exposing or increasing their risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19.

I understand that ATD will continue to closely monitor conditions related to COVID-19 between now and the start of the conference and that ATD reserves the right to modify its COVID-19 related procedures and health screening protocols in its sole discretion at any time. Registrants will be informed of any such changes on an ongoing basis. As a condition of attendance and participation, I agree to follow the protocols as required by ATD and/or the conference venue.
