What is the 2019 ATD Data & Analytics Summit?

The 2019 ATD Data & Analytics Summit is a national Network learning event for two- and four-year institutions with three programmatic tracks offered through an equity lens: (1) building data and technology capacity and a comprehensive, aligned strategy to support a culture of inquiry and evidence; (2) examining the use of data as a lever in pathways reform; and (3) improving institutional effectiveness practices.

How many people may my institution send to the 2019 ATD Data & Analytics Summit?

Team participation in encouraged and we offer a 10% discount for teams of three or more. Please note that total registrations are limited to 280. Institutions are encouraged to send institutional researchers, institutional effectiveness and information technology professionals, administrators, faculty and staff who serve on student success or data teams.

How much is the registration fee for the 2019 ATD Data & Analytics Summit and what does the registration cover?

The fee for Network College attendees is $499 and the fee for participants not in the ATD Network is $625 per attendee. This fee includes a choice of complimentary all plenary and concurrent sessions, continental breakfasts on Thursday and Friday, lunch on Thursday, coffee breaks, and receptions on Wednesday and Thursday. The full-day pre-conference workshop with lunch is $250 for in-network institutions and $300 for out-of-network institutions. The half-day pre-conference sessions include lunch and are $125 each for in-network institutions and $150 for out-of-network institutions.

What is NOT covered by the ATD Data & Analytics Summit participation fee?

Travel, lodging, transfers, ride sharing/cabs and meals not listed above.

What are the transportation options for travel to the 2019 ATD Data & Analytics Summit?

Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA) is approximately 15 miles to The Hotel at the University of Maryland and Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) is 30 miles to the hotel. The hotel is less than 1 mile from the College Park-UMD Metrorail Station and offers shuttle transportation to/from the station. Additionally, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle within a 5-mile radius. You may view maps and transportation options here.

How do I reserve a hotel room for the 2019 ATD Data & Analytics Summit?

A block of rooms has been reserved for the 2019 Data & Analytics Summit participants at The Hotel at the University of Maryland located at 7777 Baltimore Ave, College Park, MD. The conference rate is $175 per night plus taxes/fees. College representatives are responsible for making their hotel reservations by Wednesday, August 21 to get the special rate.
