Joint TAG Chairs Meeting

On behalf of the WAZA Committee for Population Management (CPM), the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) would like to invite TAG Chairs, TAG Vice Chairs and colleagues with equivalent positions playing an active role in regional collection planning to the fourth Joint TAG Chair Meeting that will be hosted by Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, California, USA from 24– 26 April 2022.

The first three Joint TAG Chair meetings were attended by delegates from around the world including TAG Chairs and Vice Chairs representing mammal, bird, reptile, amphibian, and invertebrate species, population biologists, scientists, as well as professionals from the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA), the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the IUCN Specialist Groups and Species360.

Registration Rates:

  • Early Bird (registrations received on or before 25 March) - $350
  • Regular Rate (registrations received after 25 March) - $400
Attendees from regional associations other than AZA who are attending the AZA Mid-Year Meeting are eligible for a registration discount. Contact Cheryl Andrews prior to registering for the AZA Mid-Year Meeting to receive the discount code. Please indicate in your email which days of the AZA Mid-Year Meeting you plan to attend.
