Press Registration

Press Credential Information

Press credentials to cover the UNITY '12 will be restricted to journalists (editorial press, not advertising media or PR representatives) assigned to cover the convention. Registration includes access to some workshops, the media and career expo, plenary sessions, media events and the presidential candidates' (invited) forum (no videotaping), however it does not include meals. To pre-register for press credentials, complete the online application and complete the process onsiteby bringing a letter on company letterhead from your supervisor assigning you to cover the convention, a business card and government issued ID.

Click here for the online application.

Onsite registration for credentials is also available.  You will still have to complete the above online application and provide the documents mentioned above.

Press credentials are only valid for a day, so media covering the entire convention will be asked to apply for credentials for each day that is required (please note: UNITY will give limited full convention press credentials).

Press must first report to the Press Room at UNITY '12 for registration. The press room at the convention will provide access to wi-fi internet, a printer and two computer terminals. We encourage credentialed media to bring their own laptops. The press room is accessible on a first-come, first-served basis since space is limited by reporters with credentials. Press Room Hours:
August 1-3, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. August 4, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Acceptance and Notification: UNITY reserves the right to decline any requests for credentials.

Applicants requesting press credentials in advance will be notified via e-mail within 72 hours of receiving the application form. UNITY will approve credential requests on a rolling basis and notify your news organization of its status.
