Registrant E-mail Updates

ARE YOU READING YOUR E-MAILS?
If you don't recall getting our updates over email, please read below to see what you've been missing. To ensure receipt of our emails, please add e-show and SAME domains on your approved list of senders.

Update #1:

  • Transportation: Transportation will be provided between hotels and the America's Center.  Please see the JETC Shuttle Transportation Schedule for details.
  • Airport Transportation: SAME has negotiated a reduced rate for an airport shuttle.  Please see here for more information.
  • Government Per Diem: Government per diem rooms are intended for active duty, civilian government employees, guard and reserves.  They are not intended for retirees working as contractors or any other private sector industry attendees.  Hotel staff will be checking ID cards for the appropriate categories.  We appreciate your help in ensuring that we have adequate space for our public sector attendees.
  • Attendee Service Center: Remember, you can access your invoice/receipt, pay your balance, and make changes to your registration by visiting the Attendee Service Center.  You will need your login information to access the Attendee Service Center. Your invoice information can also be found in your registration confirmation.
  • Exhibiting Companies: Any attendee requiring access to a company booth during set-up and tear-down hours should be registered through the Exhibitor Service Center, Booth Staff Registration.
  • Visit the Website!  We are constantly updating the website, so please visit it often.  We will continue to send updates to stay connected and we look forward to seeing you in St. Louis.

Update #2

  • Extra Events!  Don't forget to sign up for extra-curricular activities!  You can add Tours, Fun Run, and Golf to your registration by visiting the Attendee Service Center.  All tours will depart from the America's Center where there is a lounge with coffee and snacks while you wait for your tour.
  • Golf: Golf transportation will depart from each hotel.  If you are signed up for golf and know who you want to be in your foursome, you need to contact Bob Welsch at bob.welsch@stantec.com.  All members of your foursome must be registered for golf.  SAME will not be responsible for un-honored foursomes if all individuals are not registered.
  • Fun Run: The Fun Run will take place at the Arch with no transportation necessary.  It will be a monitored event on a scenic 5K course.  You'll get a few goodies to commemorate your run.  Winners get bragging rights, but slow runners have more time to network!
  • Lodging: If you haven't reserved your room yet, there are plenty of rooms left at the Hilton and Hyatt hotels.  Cut-off dates are quickly approaching and are listed on Travel & Lodging.
  • Attendee Service Center: Remember, you can access your invoice/receipt, pay your balance, and make changes to your registration by visiting the Attendee Service Center.
  • Exhibiting Companies: Any attendee requiring access to a company booth during set-up and tear-down hours should be registered through the Exhibitor Service Center, Booth Staff Registration.  That includes full conference and anybody taking advantage of the complimentary exhibit hall pass that comes with each 10x10 space.  If you mistakenly registered as an attendee instead of booth staff, please let us know so we can switch your form.
  • Substitutions: If you need to transfer your registration to somebody else, please send full name, e-mail, position title, and phone number to registration@same.org.
  • Volunteers: Are you local to the St. Louis area and looking for an opportunity to volunteer at this conference?  Click here.  You must first be registered for the conference.

Update #3

  • MOST IMPORTANT for 2012 JETC:  Please take note of the transportation schedule on our website.  There is continuous transportation during the conference and off-site transportation for all three hotels.  We highly recommend that you use the transportation as opposed to renting a car.  Parking is very limited.  Also, you will increase your networking time by being able to talk to your colleagues on the bus!
  • CUSTOMER SERVICE: Due to the high volume of e-mails and phone calls to our Registrar, please note that your questions are important to us but we may need a little extra time to get back to you.  Please make sure you visit the website as the answer to your questions may be closer than you think.
  • GOLF:  If you have signed up for golf, and know who you want to be in your foursome, you need to contact Bob Welsch at bob.welsch@stantec.com.  All members of your foursome must be registered for golf.  SAME will not be responsible for un-honored foursomes if all individuals are not registered.  To add golf to your registration, please visit the Attendee Service Center.
  • ATTENDEE LIST:  The attendee list will be posted to the website two weeks before and after the conference.  Exhibitors will have access to the list through the Exhibitor Service Center.  A "no contact information" list will be posted in the menu of the main site.
  • PRESENTATIONS:  Conference presentations with recordings will be available two weeks post conference.  You will receive an email at that time with a link.  Conference attendees can get the presentations for free.  Non-attendees will have access to the presentations for a fee.
  • PDHs:  You can earn at least 10 Professional Developoment Hours by attending the various workshops, technical sessions and tours offered at this conference.  For descriptions, please see the conference program.  Your badge will contain a bar-code that needs to be scanned in order for you to receive credit.  You will receive an e-mail after the conference with your PDH Certificate.  A tracking sheet will also be available in the printed program.  Each member is responsible for applying  for his or her own PDHs after the conference.  SAME cannot guarantee that all boards will accept all PDH credit; please check with your licensing board for more information.
