This session will cover a broad range of tried-and-true techniques used in event research. It will first examine what resources can be mined within any organization and other external data sources to help make business decisions. These techniques will help organizers plan for the next event; marketing efforts will include: outlining a way for organizers to determine the alignment between attendee wants and needs, understanding attendees beyond business demographics, and determining sales resulting from the show.
