Be sure to read the information below for an explanation of
registration categories, rates, and policies.
Regardless of your method of payment, you must complete the online registration form. There is no hard copy registration form.
Currently, accepted methods of payment online are Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. If you need to pay by check, please bring payment with you and register at the Full Service Registration desk in Phoenix.
| REGISTRATION CATEGORIES |
| AZA Individual Members |
An individual’s registration fee is determined by membership status at the time of registration. AZA membership must be in good standing and the full year's dues paid through 2012. Employees at an AZA-accredited zoo or aquarium or related facility must be an individual member of AZA in order to receive the member rate.

| AZA Commercial Members |
Non-exhibiting, AZA Commercial Members are eligible to register up to 8 representatives from their company. All AZA Commercial Members must be in good standing and dues paid through 2012 in order to attend the conference. Exhibiting companies should register booth staff using the Booth Staff Registration form in the Exhibitor Service Center.

Solicitation of Attendees and Exhibitors by non-exhibitors is prohibited and individuals will be subject to expulsion. |
| AZA Conservation Partner Members |
AZA Conservation Partners are eligible to register up to 3 representatives from their organization, at the member rate. Additional representatives beyond 3 should register at the Non-Member rate. All AZA Conservation Partners must be in good standing and dues paid through 2012 in order to register at the member rate.

Guest/Spouse
|
Spouses or guests of individual member registered attendees who are not members of AZA may attend the full conference at the member rate, but MUST NOT be employed by a zoo or aquarium, or work within the industry in any capacity. |
| Non-Members |
Non-member registration is only open to individuals employed or representing a zoo, aquarium, non-profit organization, or government agency. Non-member registration is not open to individuals employed by a non-member commercial entity. Individuals representing a commercial entity that is not a current AZA Commercial Member, Conservation Partner, Exhibitor, or Sponsor, are NOT eligible to attend the conference. |
| International Colleagues |
Individuals who are NOT members of AZA, but represent a zoo, aquarium, or non-profit organization outside the U.S. and Canada. |
| Students |
Full-time students who are not currently employed full-time. A copy of valid student identification is required. NOTE: No one under the age of 18 is permitted to register and attend the conference sessions, meetings, or social events, unless they are accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the entire conference. That parent or guardian must be a registered attendee and over the age of 18. |
| Keepers and Aquarists |
Keepers and aquarists at AZA-accredited institutions will receive a 25% discount off posted registration rates. Not open to managers, curators, or senior staff. Verification is required. Enter the discount code "AZA4591" in the discount code box on the review screen, at the end of the registration process. Discount does not apply to event tickets, tours, or carbon offsetting. |
| Non-Member Government Employees |
Full-time employees of government agencies (USDA, NOAA, USFWS, etc.) that are not individual members of AZA are eligible for a 25% discount off published registration rates. Please contact AZA to receive a discount code to use when registering. Discount does not apply to event tickets, tours, or carbon offsetting. |

AZA REGISTRATION POLICIES
- All payments must be made in U.S. funds, drawn on by a U.S. bank, and payable to AZA. Credit card payments will be processed in U.S. funds, in accordance with effective exchange rates. Statement to show charge by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
- REFUND POLICY: All refund requests must be received in writing by Friday, August 24, 2012. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made after this date or for no shows. Refunds will be issued within 30 business days and a $50 processing fee will be deducted. Substitutions from the same institution or company will be accepted, in writing, without penalty. Icebreaker, Honors & Awards Lunch, and Zoo Day tickets are nonrefundable. - Photographers will be taking pictures at the conference, which may be used for promotional and educational purposes. Registration or participation in the meeting and other activities constitutes an agreement to allow AZA to use and distribute attendees image or voice in photographs and recordings of the meeting — now and in the future.
- Solicitation of attendees and exhibitors by non-exhibitors is prohibited and individuals will be subject to expulsion.
