This Business Model for Perioperative Care Preconference will introduce the basic concepts associated with the Perioperative Surgical Home (PSH) concept of care.

Objectives
At the conclusion of Preconference 3:  The Business Model for Perioperative Care, participants should be able to:

  • Assess their own practices and determine whether they can implement the Perioperative Surgical Home (PSH) concept.
  • Implement a strategy for working collaboratively with surgeons to improve patient outcomes.
  • Devise a plan to measure outcomes related to PSH.

Credit Designation
The American Society of Anesthesiologists designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
