The Advanced Topics in Practice Management Preconference is designed for physician anesthesiologists and practice administrators who understand the fundamentals and are seeking to acquire more detailed knowledge of practice management in an interactive environment.  Each module will explore a topic through examples, analyses and group exchanges. Best practices and lessons learned will be shared and discussed.

At the conclusion of Preconference 2:  Advanced Topics in Practice Management, participants will be able to:

  • Develop sedation policies at their facilities.
  • Prepare for The Joint Commission visits.
  • Describe strategies for successful negotiation(s).
  • Implement risk management strategies.
  • Identify quality metrics that relate to value and payment.

Credit Designation
The American Society of Anesthesiologists designates this live activity for a maximum of 8.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
