The Fundamentals in Practice Management Preconference will provide a foundation of knowledge in the areas of quality, financial metrics, leadership and medical and staff group dynamics.  This intensive one-day session introduces a variety of subjects essential to practice management.  The presenters represent a wide array of backgrounds and practice types, and are experts in the practice management field.

Objectives
At the conclusion of Preconference 1:  Fundamentals in Practice Management, participants should be able to:

  • Explain how to set up a quality program.
  • Summarize how to evaluate a billing company.
  • Recognize regulatory agencies and their requirements
  • Outline the basics of coding and billing.

Credit Designation

The American Society of Anesthesiologists designates this live activity for a maximum of 8.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
